Sierra Romero grew up in Murrieta, CA and started playing softball when she was just four years old. Sierra has three younger siblings; Sydney, Michael, and Sophia and of course her parents Michael and Melissa Romero. Both softball and baseball run deep in the Romero family, I guess you can say it runs in their blood.
Sierra is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she played shortstop and second base as a D1 Athlete. She is also a former member of the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team, as well as the U.S. Women’s National Team. Sierra currently plays second base for the USSSA Pride in the National Pro Fastpitch league.
Her goal is to leave the sport better than she found it. Sierra wants to encourage young women to pursue their dreams and never look back. She wants to engrave the importance of not only being physically tough, but mentally tough as well. She is a firm believer in hard work, dedication, and perseverance; what are you willing to do to get what you want?
